  • About

I love to write, watch film, marvel in film scores, and talk endlessly about the things that I love. I am a reviewer on the wonderful HomeTheaterForum.com, where I review DVD and Blu-ray releases (primarily Paramount titles).

I got into film scores when I was 11 or 12 because of my favourite film, Aliens. I have been a James Horner devotee ever since. I would record end themes for films onto tape (using a microphone held up to the TV speaker) - that was before I had my own money. Now I quest for titles that impacted me during my youth, clamor for anything Horner, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith or Guy Farley - as well as grab greats from Herrmann, Elmer Bernstien, Elliot Goldenthal, John Debney, John Powell, Ennio Morricone, and many, many others who have distinct musical voices that speak to me and impress me.
