I'd rather have Tyler than a Zimmer-clone, no doubt

True, but I'd also rather have Zimmer (the original) than Brian Tyler.

Fun little tidbit - they were starting to record a take at the EAGLE EYE sessions when the earthquake hit. I'll see if I can include the sound file in my news item wink

I don´t know, I love some of the Pang Brothers´ films, but I´m always scared when asian directors go to Hollywood. Anyway, just for Tyler´s score (and Nicolas Cage´s wig) it might be worth it. I´m probably going actually smile

Now why would you say something like that? wink

I thought THE EYE films were pretty horrible but i am going to watch this, mainly out of curiosity and of course the TYLER score which i suspect will be something between TOKYO DRIFT and WAR, i.e. nothing short of rocking awesome fun punk

Well the original The Eye was pretty good, the remake (fortunately not directed by them) was crap though. Check out the Pangs´ "Re-Cycle".

    EAGLE EYE
    Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

    Music Composed by Brian Tyler

    Shia LaBeouf
    Michelle Monaghan

In the wake of his overachieving twin brother's mysterious death, a young slacker (Shia LaBeouf) learns that he and a single mother (Michelle Monaghan) have been framed as terrorists by an unknown source in this thriller from Disturbia director D.J. Caruso. As a result of the accusation, the desperate pair is forced into an alliance with a dangerous sleeper cell preparing to carry out a high-profile political assassination. Only by infiltrating and exposing the masterminds behind this diabolical plot will the unjustly accused pair be able to prove their innocence and prevent a series of catastrophic events from unfolding. Rosario Dawson, Billy Bob Thornton, and Michael Chiklis co-star. Based on a story by Steven Spielberg, who also executive produces.

Brian Tyler provides a thrilling, action-packed score for one of the fall's most anticipated movies.

DreamWorks Pictures will open EAGLE EYE nationwide on September 26.

    Varese Sarabande Catalog #: 302 066 927 2
