    Both film and score!

true, the score's a breath of fresh air (coming from Tyler that means a lot) but I also liked the movie too.

Haven't seen the movie yet, i dismissed it 'cause i was under the impression it was gore-bukkake?

not at all, there is little if no gore to be found. I adore the ending as well, because it in the final 15 seconds that the movie transcended from decent to something gripping.

So true. It's kinda devastating actually. Tyler's 'Adagio Spiritoso' is simply impressive in the film.

Yeap. Brian Tyler said in fb it's completely different from what he's done before. Much more on the emotional side of things. Can't wait.

I think he sleeps a few more minutes than Alexandre Desplat does.

    This, is, awesome!

Go to Brian Tyler 's new work over at http://www.varesesarabande.com/servlet/ … cle/Detail and listen to the new work! Very impressive, different writing for Tyler. The mixing is also less reverb-dominated than usual, less massive but clearer and crisper. More chamber-musical and very thematic. Love the dense arrangements and busy orchestration too.

I agree. It was about time to get this kind of score from Tyler. Not that I don't like his action and massive works (actually I love them), but a bit of fresh air is good from time to time.

A violin solo is nothing I expected from him!

Exactly. He sure is good in handling an massive orchestra and he obviously gets a kick out of it, but it's in these small projects where he gets the opportunity to experiment where you can really see his talent. I love the samples, it really is a new sound although not very much removed from his The Killing Room style. Can't wait to hear it all!
