    Mel left for Germany today so it's party time.

    Having recently broken up with a girlfriend on mutual terms (which wasn't too serious, so there was no nuclear fall out wink ), me and a mate went out to a local bar, had a few drinks, a bit of a heart to heart and then met up with some randomers we'd never met - great fun! (Of course now I will need a lot of water to avoid a large hangover. shame )

    Friday Night's Alright......I've just returned from a concert with Prodigy here in Oslo. It kicked totally ass, even though I probably got around 5 litres of beer spilled all over me while jumping around in the mosh pit! punk

    Indeed. As I got the ticket for free from a buddy of mine with "connections", I was even luckier!

    The set was great, the performances top-notch. However, I DID miss "Funky Shit" and I still think the Imperial Mix of "Firestarter" is better than their original version. But beyond that, highly recommended if they play in a theatre near you.

    I still haven't checked out their recent release, though.

    It's very good, a modern re-take on the style they had on their 1st studio album, the prodigy experience. How was the audience?

    It was a peculiar audience - part older fans (as much as 50 in some cases), part new young fans. Several stoneheads, lots of drunkards. Of course, the mosh pit and basically the whole ground floor was wild, but we went up to the gallery to look, and here, people were mostly sitting in their seats and listening! We tried that for a while, but you really can't sit still to Prodigy. I can't, anyway. So we went down again.

    The new album sounds interesting. Looking forward to hear it.
