Good review Tom, I'm really looking forward to it.

I've added the review to MainTitles as well, but on Tom's site you can find the tracklisting + times.

I'm not a big Desplat fan, so I'll be giving this one a miss.
    Good review though.

The automatically generated reference content at the bottom of your review had me smiling though:

I'm glad arrived 40 minutes early to the first showing of CCBB even though I had nausea sitting through the endless commercials. Getting a good seat was important and I'm glad there wasn't a lot of traffic as the rain was coming down pretty good and could have been an issue getting there. Their was little if anything to complain about in this difficult subject to film and make it somewhat believable. If you've read the short story the first sentence applies and little else in the F. Scott Fitzgerald work. Hollywood had to have their way and did to make this 160 minute film attention getting. The makeup work done on Pitt and Blanchett was really 1st rate. They made Pitt look like he was 80 all the way down to 20. Both stars will get Oscar nominations along with makeup, picture of the year, director, and of course my hero Desplat. He proves that there is no need for this ear squeeking music and can actually write themes people can remember. Bring your hanky as even grown men cry for this one. When we exited there was as long a line as I can remember to get into the third showing (two screens). I can't really fault anything.

You're right shame I just read, sounds interesting. Tom, do you have anything more to say story-wise without giving away too much?
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  4. I've seen it. It's a good film. Perched on the edge of very sentimental territory, it manages to not indulge it in. It's a convincing story of a life. I'd say more, but if you knew more than the basic premise, you'd risk being bored for parts of the film's lengthy run.
