    Very sad news. His Vaughan-Williams recordings were fantastic, and it's a shame that they were never able to complete the full cycle of symphonies.

    That is extremely sad and so young too!

    I have all his RVW recordings and they are fantastic, his recording of the 'London' symphony was quite simply superlative and now we'll never get to hear his rendition of 'Antartica'.
