  1. Apologies for just cutting-and-pasting this from Facebook:

    Anyone else having issues with playing audio clips in Amazon's mp3 store?

    I am finding that there is no way to sample individual tracks from albums when in the mp3 store. This only started happening today and appears to be an issue with Chrome and Opera.

    Anyone who can check using their own set-up would be great. Ta.

    I would like someone independently to try.

  3. Looks like, unless there's an issue with the Amazon store itself, they may be trying to drive people to Amazon Music. Which is a bit frustrating. All I want is an easy way to listen to 30-second clips from their regular store page.

    Hey there, I just tried on Safari on my iPhone and had no problem with sampling tracks from Zimmer’s Dune. Then downloaded both the Chrome and Opera browser apps and tried the same, once again no problem with either? So this might be a ‘you’ problem wink.

  6. It seems to be a *.co.uk thing. If I go to amazon.de I have no problem playing clips.

    It seems weird that I can't play clips in my own country!

    I just checked again, now specifically going to Amazon.co.uk, but once again I have no trouble playing clips on the different browsers? So even weirder, it’s a UK thing but only in the UK?

    Worked for me too, on .com and co.uk. I use Chrome.
    I am extremely serious.

    One thing though, I notice I can only sample tracks that can be bought as a single mp3 (so with the yellow 0,99 button next to it). Tracks that are album only keep loading and don’t play.

    Yes, that's a regular thing. Also, what normally happens is that any tracks over 10 minutes don't have preview clips either!

    My problem seems to have sorted itself out. I think that the problem I have is that some albums don't seem to have been completely uploaded and I was unlucky enough to choose a couple of albums that showed that problem. There are some recent releases that don't have clips at all and some others where there's one or two tracks with time stamps on tracks and which can play clips but the rest don't, and can't.

    But some of these problematic albums play fine in other Amazon stores!
