Are you going to mention the disappearance of the CD and how it is no longer available?

You'd pretty much have to. I would have when I played the score on my show but when I debuted my program with Slipstream it was literally the very next day that all hell broke loose concerning the album. I still think it's a fine, fine release!

  2. It is an excellent release indeed. Shame about all the problems around it though.

It is going to be re-released correctly.
  3. "rights", not "releases"; as pointed out, PR didn't get the rights from the studio. They just got tapes from hte composer.

But I wonder how in the heck they are getting the rights, as an FSM thread chronicled that the owner didn't care and basically told them to screw off.

    Not what I was told
  4. Good news that it's going to be re-released. It's a very enjoyable score and all the legal bullcrap surrounding its release shouldn't have been there in the first place. I keep spinning this one occasionally.

  6. I think it's safe to say it again won't be complete.

My review of Men in War from Elmer. Subtle nuances make this one much better upon repeated listening.

The 100th release for Kritzerland is the 1961 film Summer and Smoke. A nice choice. I will review

I don't know exactly what singles it out but Intrada's cover for this release is excellent.

I actually would have preferred it if they used this art instead.

There's just something not right about Intrada's cover.

Your link won't let me see it though at a guess I'll bet you linked the old Varese release cover in which case I agree with you.
