Beautiful dog Miya.
You do know that ALL dogs are descended from Wolves.....yep, even those silly celebrity handbag rat dogs.
Hard to believe when you look at them, but even they have a killer instinct that no amount of pampering will get rid of. Some go far as to not feed them meat! If we tried that with our dog, he'd probably eat us.. -

Yeah it's unbelievable that some ( very misguided ) people make their 'primarily' carnivorous pets vegetarian.

The glacial erosion looks very similar. ( why because of the season? )
I don't know. I was thinking the autumny colours sprinkled with snow here and there. Norwegian mountainsides are either far "snowier" or lushly colourized, depending on season. I think Scotland is greener?
I thought Norway was greener!??
The highlands of Scotland depend on season too. Only Alan ( Falkirkbairn ) can settle this.
When I saw Thor's desktop photo I immediately thought of the Red Cullin, particularly the views seen from Glen Sligachan - especially Marsco:
http://www.mountainhiking.org.uk/scotla … kye1.shtml
I assume that the mountains in Norway are far taller than those in Scotland and so there's more of a barrenness to the Norwegian landscape. The summits of both the Red and Black Cullin are quite predominantly bare rock and it's more the colour of the rocks themselves that give the most vivid colours. But there is a seasonal variation in the colours in this area - though as I usually only go to that part of the world during the summer I don't see much of the changing seasonal colours. But when the heather's in colour it can be a magical sight! The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Well, he certainly knows how to bring out the 16 year old girl in me.
Seriously, I was kind of surprised that while looking for a nice desktop I ended up with links like gaycharts.com and teenage girls' sites such as dontyouwishyourboyfriendwashotlikewent.com hahahaha! So I guess you're right.
But what can I say... he is just pretty. -

Ever since my Amiga days in the mid to late eighties, I've been a "point-'n'-click' user.
It just makes the most sense to me to be able to launch/access my most oft used applications in the visually most direct way. I just don't understand the point of an empty desktop. To me that just serves as an added barrier to get to the material you need.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

And to me, an "empty" desktop relaxes me, just as an empty desktop in real life. Gives me total overview. I have a total of six icons on my desktop, discretely put as a vertical line at the very left of the screen. All are often-used applications.I am extremely serious. -

I do like an empty desktop in real life.
Yeah, I do tend to clutter it because I'm lazy, but I find too soon my mindscape reflects it in being annoyed, disorganized and chaotic. So that's definitely not a good thing.
Not so with my computer desktop though.
It really feels very relaxed and in control when all the material I use on a daily basis is there in one quick glance.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

It's simple. Less shortcuts = tidy, faster computer. Keyboard shortcuts are the epitome of being faster with everything you do on your pc, thus all the professional programs and the keyboard shortcuts or the custom keyboards with printed shortcuts on the keys for every softwareLove Maintitles.
