I want to watch it so badly! How did you like the CLINT MANSELL score?

I'm sorry to report that the score was quite mediocre. A lot of piano. In fact knowing what I know about soundtracks an excellent one could have made the experience better. Keep in mind also that you have to look past the special effects or it will ruin the film for you. As I said before I really like the story.

Depends. What's your view on the score by the same composer for THE FOUNTAIN?
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

If by good music you mean fluffy British orchestras and repeated flowery leitmotifs then be my guest.

My friend Maureen, who I went to the movie Moon with, made the comment to me last night, as we were listening to the Salonen/LA Philharmonic recording of the Psycho suite, how much better the film could have been with music like that. Interesting

I didn't say Psycho music. I'm talking about music written from a man who could invoke a little terror and suspense. Would you like me to completely ruin the film for all and explain exactly where the music would make a difference.

Due to a sudden outburst of RichardArmitageophy caused by a certain character´s fate in Robin Hood, my wife first pressed me into watching the immensely beautiful and atmospheric BBC mini-series North & South. Now, since Armitage plays a part in the last two episodes, we run through all episodes of The Vicar of Dibley, which is a surprisingly charming, entertaining british sit com about the first female vicar in a small country village. Adorable characters and finest british humour make this forced trip a very entertaining one.

The absolute highlight, of course, was Torchwood: Children of Earth. This is not only the best season of TW so far, but probably the best SciFi TV mini series I´ve EVER seen. Watch it if you can.
