    QUIET!!!

I made a cover for Quantum Of Solace.

I cannot wait to find out what the official cover will be like. They've got a lot of great artwork to choose from already.

Question... do you use the SAME font for everyone of your covers?

That's simply Arial Black, making its first appearance on one of my covers.

I use Segoe UI a lot, but that's because it's a font and a half! tongue

Nothing special, but a couple of quick ones I put together for my iPod recently - Dirty Harry and Magnum Force. The originals (1) (2) want to make me vomit.

I tried to keep the old-style going in them, and I think I succeeded. smile

Interesting fact - I only found out today that the Eastwood scoring stage is named after him. cool

Obviously I won't be able to achieve the same quality as CD companies, but is there any type of paper I can use for printing my CD covers that will still have that firm and shiny look to them that normal covers have? Standard paper doesn't cut it, and photo paper is too shiny. confused

Very good question. It's a question I've been meaning to ask as well...

Thanks! $15 for paper seems a bit steep though. Maybe I'll just cut down a tree and make it all to my own specification. wink

    it's special paper wink

seriously though, 50 sheets for $15 is like, 30 cents a sheet, and you can print both the front and back of the jewelcase on one sheet if you do it right. 30 cents a CD for beautiful artwork isn't really that much!

I've been wanted to do a cover for Saving Private Ryan for a while now and I finally got around to it. I aged the photo as well as I could to make it look authentic.

Does anyone have custom covers for Wall-E?? I bought the CD...but I don't want to scratch the hell out of it pulling it in and out of that stupid cardboard case.
---- Well, I wouldn't argue that it wasn't a no holds barred, adrenaline fueled thrill ride. But, there is no way you can perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork.

Interesting... it was working this morning. His site is still up but the hosting server for the image seems to be down.

Anyway, I managed to save the cover when it was available and I've uploaded it to my server.
