Would anyone happen to have the cover art lying around for Mark Snow's Ernest Saves Christmas? -

Third and final attempt at a Super 8 cover. IMO, my best one. -

Thanks - but nope - I found it in the Internet Archive on one of the old versions of Mark Banning's site (who designed the artwork). Worth a look for other treasures too! -

The only thing that is rubbing me the wrong way is the Music From The Motion Picture and Music by title/font. It looks jagged... like you forgot to add smoothing to it or add a bit of a drop shadow to match Michael's name and the title. And I'm not to crazy on the font choice either.

I wanted to keep the "movie" font, but looking at this on my laptop I see your quibble with the jagged edges. I had my laptop hooked up to a different screen last night and it looked ok, but actually on it now and it looks awful. I will revise tonight! -

I'd use a different color for the Disney font. Just a suggestion.

Here's an alternate cover I made for Voyage Of The Dawn Treader. What were they thinking of with the original artwork, only then to change it to this?!
I thought the ship looked awesome, perhaps do something with that? I mean the whole ship, not just the steering wheel.
Nice covers though Anthony! I enjoy watching what you make. -

Not bad. A movie like that needs a Struzen drawn poster!

Check out the FSM thread on the GNP release of "Star Trek: First Contact" for about half a dozen alternative fan-made covers -- superior, even the lest quality one, to the GNP cover.
Honestly, if GNP is doing what other labels do, produce a small batch at first, like 3,000, then press more as the quantity is sold, then they should switch covers to a fan-made one. IT would be doing them a big favor, and it would be nice if they used the one more in line iwht the Intrada/FSM designs. The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else.
