Oh, we here in Holland could handle it. After all, one of our most famous detective series on TV (not a comedy) has a main character called Dick de Cock cool

I thought Island Of Lost Souls deserved a better (and English) cover:

The cover looks good, but... why did it 'deserve' an English cover, while it's a Danish film? confused

Because it's also on sale here...

I'm more than happy for all covers to be translated. It's a shame they're not. smile

But why should everything on sale in England be English? Accept another language! Get accustomed to other cultures, just like we are getting everything in your language! wink We never get translated covers, and that's absolutely fine by me. I'm even ashamed I got the English cover on A Very Long Engagement; it should've been Un Long Dimanche de Fiancailles.

Although I agree with your sentiments, we don't have such a need to learn another language as other countries do. A shame it works like that, because I would love to have learnt another language when I was growing up.

Yeah, I know you guys don't, and we know about your distaste of subtitled movies and all, but for many of us it has always felt as a certain arrogance wink Yet I don't think this is the right topic to discuss it further smile

I can't wait to find out what the cover art will be for Lost season 3 or P.S, I Love You. I might actually have a go with a Lost one for fun as the season 3 DVD artwork is brilliant.

Nice, but I'm not sure I would have put the TROY logo on the armour of Pitt. It also leaves the top of the page quite bare. I'm also not sure if I would have such a big pic of Pitt on the front cover in the first place, but rather some more dramatic picture.

But other than that, it looks like a nice package.
    I am extremely serious.

I hope you don't mind some criticism. I think you over used the Spider-Man font. Just look at the backs of the commercial releases of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 and you don't see the Spider-Man font anywhere. It's not the most pleasant font to look at. I think you should use something that a bit cleaner and easier you read. Just my two cents.

Agreed. I'm disgusted by international titles on posters/artwork. Changing the title for artwork is like changing the composer's name.
