    As horrible as it sounds it is true that so many are put to sleep daily it would be one less if you would pick one out my friend.

    yeah, I've heard that you should always pick up a pet from a shelter, not buy a new one. (not sure if I agree, that's just what I've heard).

    Love the Michael Mann movie! The virtues far outweigh the flaws.

  15. I need to see the director's cut (which actually *replaces* two incidents with each other), which is reportedly better.

    To me the only REAL saving grace of the film is that it's not Hollywood hacking that we see, that this is actually very realistic especially for Hollywood standards. I still think that for this particular material Mann was the wrong director.

    Cats rule because I came home late at night after a long bad day. Both my cats can just feel that and try to comfort me with a lot of cuddling and purrs.
