Tuesday would have been Jerry Goldsmith's 80th birthday.

Here are 25 clips. All you have to do is identify which Goldsmith score they come from. 1 point each. The clips are NOT in chronological (or any other logical) order.

I imagine some people will score very highly here quite easily, but never mind - just sit back and enjoy the music!

I'll post some clues in a couple of days. The game will close on Friday.

I have to say, preparing this game was a nice reminder of how good Goldsmith is. I was originally going to restrict it to 20 clips, then thought an extra five wouldn't hurt, but in truth I could easily have found another 50. The guy wrote so many distinctive themes - and of course so much wonderful non-thematic stuff.

I keep getting this message when I try to download:

"Sorry, the free service is at full capacity."

I gave up after four tries.
    I am extremely serious.

Please try again if it didn't work. Not sure what was going on!

I downloaded the file about 30-40 minutes ago with no problems. Though I did have a couple of pop-ups that managed to bypass my settings - which was annoying.

In fact there were two, and the bad news for you is that while you picked up another couple of points, you have a new target to aim for...

    1: NunoM - 20 points
    2: Steven - 19 points
    3: Thomas Glorieux - 18 points

Cool game! I don't know much of JG stuff but I'll give it a shot after I get home. Don't post the clues yet.

And use spoilers for the clues!
