'Cause the director is busy, with a new sci-fi movie that he'll make before any next Batman plans.

Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.
  1. A Nolan sci-fi movie? Now that sounds right up my alley. But I can already guess it'll be ultra-dark sci-fi. slant

  2. Let's start writing to Elliot to audition for the movie.

Indeed. Nothing could be more exciting, really, could it? A droning, themeless Zimmer score for another excellent Nolan film is just what gets me going.

(Let's face it, whoever scores this film, it's highly unlikely we're going to get a great score, unless Nolan takes some film music drugs in the next year or so.)

Yeah, good point. I can see that actually. Depends what the film's about, obviously.

I see no one but David Julyan scoring this.

You're probably right. The studio might force him to use Zimmer, like they did on Batman, but if he has freedom of choice then I guess it'll be Julyan.
  3. Zimmer might executive produce it, like he did with Prestige.

Which means walking around the office once, for coffee, and twice from the set to say hi, and get the credit wink

  4. Which means people leaving Julyan alone and Zimmer doing what you told! biggrin

I'm not sure if I really care about another Batman film?

  6. Same here, actually. Maybe the problem with superhero films is that they make the third film. Nowadays it seems the second film usually exploits the best story to its potential, after the first one does the setting up of the hero. The third is where they run out of things to say.
