My picture today is of me, my wife-to-be and my best man-to-be, in my favourite part of this country, the rolling hills of North Devon.
Nice to see your other half, James.

Something a bit different for my shot today... Disney World fireworks.
And keeping with the theme of dark shots...
Laser light show
This was taken when the family were visiting The Hague a year or two back and we went to visit a "theme park" called Madurodam where they have a miniature representation of The Netherlands - and the laser light show! The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Ok... I have two for you today. Not extraordinary but I did promise a picture of Mr. Moo.
1) THIS is my second favorite shot of him. This was taken last summer during a picnic at Pier 4 here in Hamilton. Liam had been running around for an hour straight and finally got a bit tired. He crouched down to have a rest and was looking down between the wood boards to see the fish below. I was about to take a shot of him when he looked up and this is what I snapped off. I love the length of his hair (shaggy Luke Skywalker) in this shot and the look on his face is priceless.
2) THIS was taken this past thanksgiving. It's my wife and Liam coming out of my aunt's horse stables. I love these kinds of shots... it reminds me of one of the last shots in Benjamin Button... Blanchet holding onto old (baby) Button's hand walking down the street. Both my wife and I balled when we saw that shot!

Here's mine for the day. Probably the best photo I've ever taken (and its quality is, as usual, purely random). A bird we came across in Florida. Don't even know what sort it is!

Great Egret, maybe? If it's as tall as about 90 cm.

My photo for today is another bird photo. The Rogers clan were out for a walk in North Wales last year trying to climb a prominent hill near our home. We didn't quite reach the top of Moel Famau - mostly because we set off from a country park called Loggerheads and it took us several hours to get to the foot of Moel Famau before the "ascent" could begin.
But on the way there we came across a house by the side of the road that had 2-3 peacocks walking around the garden. So I waited and waited until this stunning bird turned around and presented itself in all it's glory...

So far this is a big joke. I've tried to download it for the last 30 minutes just to check and see if it works. It doesn't. I'm open to try something else.
