NP : WALKING WITH BEASTS - Benjamin Bartlett

Take some doses of Goldsmith, Williams and Herrmann and you are left with amongst the finest TV scoring heard. Exceptional orchestrations, melodies, great atmospheric writing, epic full on orchestral powerhouse writing, it's got it all.

In the few short years I've had this it's become one of my most played CD's ever cool

Film score fans who don't have this are seriously missing out.

  2. Poltergeist (Jerry Goldsmith)

The best thematically chilling horror score ever composed !!!! Nothing comes close.

    NP:Angels And Demons (zimmer)

shocked Oh My God! this is far more enjoyable and complex than the Da Vinci Code.

Ok, it doesn't reach DVC picks (Poisoned chalice or Chevaliers) but the composition it's much more complex and loud recorded....

Ti Ti Ti Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Ti ti Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Time to come back to reality...No Emile de Ravin, No angels and demons

    NP:Lionheart (Goldsmith)

Dammed! a lot of amazing moments, specially "failed Knight" ,"king Richard" and "the lake". but the action musc doesn't work for me sad

I hope some day i can enjoy this score so musch I do with 13 warrior o First Knight.

Robin and Marian - John Barry

A fantastic, romantic score from Barry, as usual. The music of the fight sequences is also great.

  3. NP: LADYHAWKE -- Andrew Powell

Typical 80's fluff, but it works. Synths and orchestra go hand in hand

NP:Star Trek the final Frontier (Goldsmith)

I bought the score a lot of years ago (of course, with the terrible song included).

I always thought the God's theme was really annoying (probably because I watched the movie, dammed!), but , leaving this aside, the action music is the best action music from all the star trek scores by Goldsmith. How he mixes all the themes together, is really cool.

Special mention to Klingons theme and the barrier.

The Legend of Zorro James Horner

Listening to it on my new Shure SE210s. (Which in complete vanity I took a picture of for my profile pic.)
  4. NP: Memories of Me (Delerue)

Actually, I'm glad I got this. There's a couple of things that I really like that aren't in the London Session suite. The 'A Little Sex'-like theme is just gorgeous. (Ah, now there's an idea.)

...To Die For = a wonderful amalgamation of terror, action, desperation, sorrow and emotion. My best action track ever, hats off to Hans on this.
