With the 'own composition' thread(s) being quite popular, I thought it was time for those of us that don't know how to write - but instead play an instrument, to be heard.
Let me go first. It took me 3-4 weeks to practice the piece, but now I can proudly present to you Clint Mansell's Together we will live forever on the piano. The recording's a bit noisy, but it was made with my phone and later converted to mp3.

Well done! No noticeable mistakes to my ear I think? Quite a thought requiring piece then, or is 3 weeks the average to learn something?
I think this should be played live at the next group session at work.
And it was a good piece to close off the day with.Kazoo -

It depends on the piece of course... This was a 'rather easy' piece because it doesn't have too many notes, it's somewhat slow-paced, it's my genre, and i already knew what it sounded like. Usually, it takes a lot longer to learn a piece perfectly. What do you hear? Nothing but the rain...
