Aw cripes. I'm losing ground.
Oh well, the only thing left to do: back on topic:
NP: The Corpse Bride - Danny Elfman.
Basically 'The Nightmare Before Christmas Lite'. Lovely.
While in the same vein, I think I like the orchestral work in this score better, actually.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

How can't I when he is listening to one of my favourite Elfman score? Anyway there is no competition between you! I truly envy the women who have both of you! I hope they are aware of their unbelievable luck! Who can beat you wit my dear Martijn!? Off to play Corpse Bride as well!Whatever you gaze rests on,do not use your vision, but the eyes of your soul...She knows better... -

See? I keep explaining that to every single girl I meet.
And then they generally flee in abject terror, leaving me to dab myself dry from the remnants of their drinks in my hair and on my suit.
What is wrong with these people?'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Helen of Troy so doth decree
A battle between Franz and me.
Yet I, no fool, can clearly see,
The laughing third that will be D.!'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Attractive in mind, you may well be
(Or even in form, I have not the eyes to see)
But lost is the battle, and your vain glee

Modesty seems me to be
an overrated commodity.
Much better, I'm sure you'd agree
to blast forth and astonish the millions,
Toot one's own horn with Gabriel's grace.
Eclipsing suns with mind's fire's brilliance.
Fearlessly using poetic clichés.
Hee hee hee.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

If cliches they seek, they'll find none better
Than you, wordy Dutchman, and your artless verse
I rather think that the girl, from the land that made fetta
Loves not Narcissus - indeed, immodesty is a curse
Mind you my arhythmic rhyme is equally unlikely to get her
And I'm so embarrassed at this point I'm inclined to disperse
Rather than continue to rhyme like a tortured debtorA butterfly thinks therefore I am -

Yet surely can I leave you not.
without a little parting shot.
To break the flow
while on the go
betrays a mind
that is inclined
to pine and grind
at words unkind,
and ill alligned
to thoughts in prisoned format bind.
But Gods! I definitely need more whine
To make this last bloody sentence rhyme
(Incidentally, @ your rhyming of better with fetta: )'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

My cap to you for somehow fitting that one in!
To all the blind
And those that find
No pleasure from this
Dutch minstrel's mind
Ask yourself this:
Why deny the bliss
Of abstaining from prose
To take the piss?
Allow a prophecy,
For a future I see
Of a forum in verse
Where discussion is free
Rhyming for all!
(For none resist the call
To speak in a meter
And generally have a ball.)
And it might never have been
Had we not seen
A lady from the land of fetta
Among these men so keen.
