Yeah. She's not the Fonda she used to be but i guess she's good now too.

Although i'd assume some would be ready to argue that she's in fact better now than then.

That's awesome indeed - and totally unexpected! I love it when he decides to sing a rock song of his own (in his scores) now that the Boingo days are over for good.

    Thanks for the heads-up!
    I am extremely serious.

I'm not such a fan of happy musical-music, so I avoided "nightmare before christmas", "corpse bride" and other Burthon-scores. But scores like Hulk and Planet of the apes really blew me away, I think those works are really underrated by the fans. However, he's talentend and versatile.

He is indeed. I'm probably misreading your post, but don't miss out on all the Burton scores if you don't like happy musical-music. Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride are (semi) musicals, but the music is anything but happy; and many of the other scores for Burton are dark masterpieces.

I wouldn't call them "happy" but they do work perfectly in context of the films.

Not CD's I'd buy or listen to but I do find both those films very entertaining.

    HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY
    Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

    Music Composed by Danny Elfman

With a signature blend of action, humor and character-based spectacle, the saga of the world’s toughest, kitten-loving hero from Hell continues to unfold in Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. Bigger muscle, badder weapons and more ungodly villains arrive in an epic vision of imagination from Oscar®-nominated director Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy).

After an ancient truce existing between humankind and the invisible realm of the fantastic is broken, hell on Earth is ready to erupt. A ruthless leader who treads the world above and the one below defies his bloodline and awakens an unstoppable army of creatures. Now, it’s up to the planet’s toughest, roughest superhero to battle the merciless dictator and his marauders. He may be red. He may be horned. He may be misunderstood. But when you need the job done right, it's time to call in Hellboy (Ron Perlman). Along with his expanding team in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development — pyrokinetic girlfriend Liz (Selma Blair), aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic mystic Johann — the BPRD will travel between the surface strata and the unseen magical one, where creatures of fantasy become corporeal. And Hellboy, a creature of two worlds who’s accepted by neither, must choose between the life he knows and an unknown destiny that beckons him.

To match the fury, Danny Elfman again flexes his superhero symphonic muscle to follow in the grand tradition of Batman, Spider-Man and Men In Black.

Universal Pictures opens HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY this July 11.

He could, maybe if the director asks him to do. I dunno if he'll do it himself... time will tell wink

That also depends on the fact if Universal also bought the rights for the music.

Well, those sound clips do nothing for me, but thanks for pointing them out. They reduced my stellar-high expectations for the movie a little bit, which is probably better for the actual event.
