    Ha ha ha. ... and mandolin with metal bowls! I know Thomas Newman and James Bond movie don't necessarily go together from the get go but it would be interesting to see Newman stretching his compositional skills . Alexandre Desplat maybe? We'll see if Sam Mendes will go the Arnold route again.

    I don't see why Mendes wouldn't go with Arnold? For all the years Barry scored Bond a change of director made no difference, Albert R. Broccoli wanted Barry so it didn't matter whether the director had someone else in mind, I think this is the same case with Wilson & Barbara Broccoli.

    A Newman score would be fascinating, that's for sure! But I don't think the director has any say on who does the music for Bond films.
