What an odd thought. I'll always associate you with San Diego.

You can take the man out of San Diego but you can't take San Diego out of the man.

So true Tim. But on the positive side I'll be able to spend time with my father and I'll be able to fly back and visit Maureen and vice versa. My reviewing, and contributions to the site won't change at all.

  1. Tom, will moving to Minnesota mean that your CDs will be cheaper? I always associate California with an additional sales tax that's slapped onto things like CDs.

Leave it to Alan to figure out I'll be affecting the gross national product of California. The boxes of CD's is staggering to say the least. And yet once settled I'll be buying more that is just part of the sickness.

I moved all of my cassettes yesterday into storage. I'll not be taking them with me. I do have some material that is only on cassette but so be it. Did a lot of moving of material and I'm quite tired today so I don't know how much I'll be able to get done.

Sometimes in those dark times when I consider selling my CDs (now that I have digitised all my music) to somewhere like SAE, the fact that they refuse to cover shipping costs for overseas purchases is one of the main reasons for not selling.

And then when I come to my senses I realise I've had another lucky escape!!

When you start going thru them and you realize that you bought something and completely forgot, yikes!! Then I have to keep from being distracted and not listen or I'll never get anything packed. Of course I have to listen, get out the liner notes.

That would be tough my friend because you'd see a CD and say you have that. Can we listen to it? And Time Goes By. Seriously, I know you'd all be a great help. It'll get done.
