Rather than start a personalised thread for Sir Christopher I thought I'd start an actors & actresses thread, a thread where we can share news / gossip / whatever on the people to whom is a canvas for our favourite composers.

    Anyway arise...

Sir Christopher Saruman Dooku Scaramanga Count of Dracula Lee

I hope you mean "survive in the film business", as surviving to be 50 is no big feat in itself. smile

    The man's nigh immortal.

    $30,000 eh?

I once saw the jacket James Dean wore in Rebel Without A Cause at a memorabilia fair in Birmingham, complete with two burly security guards, it was on it's way to Christies in London, I've no idea how much it went for?

Of more recent times I'd guess Indiana Jones whip & hat would nearly fetch a kings ransom?

I saw oddjob's hat for sale. And the golden idol from raiders. I want to guess the golden idol was for 20,000 pounds. Or was it dollars...

If you could have any artefact, ANYTHING ffrom ANY TV or FILM what would it be? ( realistically speaking )

I think I'd go for Bond's Aston Martin from Goldfinger.

...or maybe Captain Kirk's shirt from TOS plus a phaser cheesy

    I know Tom.

To be precise, Sir Christopher has been in the film business 61 years. Looking on Wiki his film debut was Corridor Of Mirrors in 1948.

66 years now! Long may he continue punk

When you've done so many films I'd say it was a definite given that there would be plenty of stinkers.

I can't name a single actor who hasn't had they're share of raspberry blowers however few or prolific the career!?

Jon Broxton posted this on FaceBook...

Ben Affleck just said that Trent Reznor's score for THE SOCIAL NETWORK was the best score of the last 40 years, during his interview on Jimmy Fallon tonight. Good God. Just shoot me.

I'm sure this'll please Thor. biggrin

It's a superb score in all ways, but the 'best score of the last 40 years' is somewhat of a mouthful.
