    Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I remember!

Just checked out a Zimmerito v Foobsie thread over there......seems no one loved Zimmerito, including myself who replied on that thread.

( an unfair advantage as I had actually met Foobs in the flesh )

    Poor Zimmerito sad cry

Wow, I´ve checked out that message board and I´ve found a thread in which Jordi and I were having a tough discussion regarding Batman Begins. That was a long time ago!

NP: The Prince and the Pauper - Korngold

Listening to the full Tribute score and the great new recording of Korngold's violin concerto performed by Philippe Quint. I love how rich and dense the PATP music sounds in the third movement! Fabulous! cool

    NP:Angels And Demons

"Science and religion" is the first Zimmer adagio than fails to impress me. It's beutiful, but cold.

The rest is.... beer beer beer beer punk punk punk

Three beer's and three punk's cancel each other out. So yes I agree, it is shit. (Plus a fourth I didn't see... but that doesn't count because I say so.)

A&D is a stupid score, not worth all this attention.

Now, if Jordi would answer my PM, I'd listen to it again. But alas, he refuses, ignores me, and doesn't even sends it to my e-mail address or on MSN. Sad. How good this score could be, I'll never know.

Very, very good score. Bear has impressed me a lot with his BSG scores and this one is a worthy addition. Excellent work!

I especially love Bear's style of orchestra and synth carefully layered over heavy percussion. Very effective! smile

    A.I. Artificial Intelligence (John Williams)

Quite magical in places, sometimes frustrating in others, always emotionally evolving. This isn't the most accessible Williams, nor is it one of his most memorable, but the musical ideas in A.I. are strong. Monica's theme is just one spine-tingling melody only Williams could have come up with. The song based on that theme performed by Lara Fabian and Josh Groban is gorgeous, but the best rendition is Barbara Bonney's heart-breaking performance. Despite its subdued nature and the fact the music relies much on texture, this is a another Williams entry that is worth the investment. It's a grower for sure and if you have the right state of mind, this can be an immensely beautiful score.
"considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G.

I find AI neither frustrating or inaccessible in any sense. To me, it's one great track after another in which I can listen to in just about any mood I'm in. Though I do agree it's a grower.
