NP: Madman Across The Water - Elton John

An excellent collection of songs from his finest years driven by some lovely string arrangements from Paul Buckmaster.

Probably my favourite Elton John album. I read somewhere that Karl Jenkins plays oboe on Come Down In Time.

Their first and still their best. Not a guitar in sight and bloody brilliant britpop. The tunes are insanely infectious and performed with passion and guts. Loving it each time. love

Symphony in G Minor Ernest Moeran. I had this recording on LP and thought enough of it to purchase it as a CD re-release in 1988.
