Ok.
This sunday I will go to prague. I choose : M:I and Bourne Identity for the modern site of the city.
Now I have to choose for the oldest part, the castles and so....
Great GREAT city ( I went once in 1994 ), as I said before I think Kilar's DRACULA and THE NINTH GATE would be brilliant for the old gothic side.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Oh I see Prague has great reviews from the users of this forum
Is Prague to small to spend 5 days in it? Do you have some visit recomendation?
About the Gothic scores...Probably I will choose Dracula because I'm more familiar with (I never have heard The ninth Gate). -

You should hear it Jordi, it's excellent! I believe it's the favourite Kilar score of a few members here ( michael and D )
EDIT : Sorry, scratch Michael, his favourite is Portrait of A LadyOn Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Ninth Gate is terrific!
(But my favourite is also Portrait of a Lady. One of THE greats!) -

And hard to disagree with that James, I adore it too.
I would also recommend to Jordi John Barry's THE LION IN WINTER ( some gothic grandeur ) but he's not partial to Barry!?On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Well, I enjoy a lot of Barry's scores ( His bond scores, Somewhere in time...). But I think Lion in Winter is full of religious choral stuff, right? And what it has to do with prague? -

Nothing. ( and neither has DRACULA to my memory? ) But I would argue it's about scores that would give you a feel for your surroundings, not necessarily scores that are set in a certain location, The Lion In Winter has that deep dark religious quality that lends itself to gothic architecture ( just program out the Christmas bits ).On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

Been to Prague twice (1991 & 2000). Lovely city. I'm not sure I'll bring any film scores, though (unless it's for the flight or something). There are plenty of nice jazz clubs and even relatively cheap orchestral concerts to attend once you're there.I am extremely serious. -

I've taken various music with me travelling but I've only ever played it in relaxing surroundings. For example, I've never and will never have my ears plugged into music while hiking, in any case, I want to take in all the sights and sounds around me whether it's mountains, sea or cities. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt
