    The official full trailer (whatever happened to glimpses with teasers?) for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES just came online. You can see it over here:

    Is it me, or does it feel like something is severely lacking? Is it not the visual flair of Verbinsky (you immediately feel this is Marshall behind the camera), it's also the wealth of other characters that's missing, from Jonathan Price to Ragetti and Pintel. It's got that instant 'afterthought' feel, like what WOLVERINE was towards X-MEN, and I'm somehow convinced they will not get that momentum back.

    There's entertaining bits here and there, Pirates 3 was the worst, what a yawn fest.

    Hmm... the trailer definitely doesn't hold up to the trailers for the other three.
  16. Beside one trailer for the very first movie, they never did anything for me, but I enjoyed each of the movies nevertheless. This one looks very awkward and forced, though, but if it´s just Zimmer´s score I am going to like about it, so be it.

    Look, I have no problems with acknowledging her still obvious beauty, and she actually has a look that fits to Jack Sparrow´s overall appearance, but if you go so far and would call her an improvement over the leading lady of the first three movies, that´s where I will never agree.
