Incidentally I always thought that score used in that film is great, full of memorable fanfares. I would love to have it released one day.

true, it sure has a catchy score
welcome as upcoming score, besides Innerspace, Star Trek III, Cool Runnings, Behind Enemy Lines, Bird on a Wire, The Goonies, A League of Their Own, Back to the Future, Sky High, ...

    Need I say more
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh
  2. I am against releasing Bird on a Wire. Zimmer couldn't orchestrate at the time and it shows. It's his worst action work.

The Meaning of Life is the least of the films, LOL-wise. It being their last film (I think) they were struggling to get the same standard as before in the sketches. But it's still every bit as Pythonesque and required viewing.

Yeah, i too found that The Meaning of Life is quite inferior quality-wise compared to the other installments.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

I went to see Spamalot, which felt a bit like a gratuitous money-maker, but I have to say the songs are extremely witty and rather well composed by John du Prez and Eric Idle. (It works better as an album than it does on the stage.)

    lol, a real classic. biggrin

Another short but goodie is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1leDAwjtto

The Holy Grail and Life of Brian are both extraordinary, though the latter had the better story and bigger budget. I've always found the ending of the Holy Grail a little lacking, though I guess it's typical for MP to end so randomly. It's still so extraordinarily funny though, that I've rated it a 10 on imdb, along with Life of Brian. About The meaning of life, I don't like it at all. Doesn't strike me as funny. Perhaps it's all the songs, I'm not into musical stuff.

And I never saw this before but the location of the car changes when it cut to Basil turning the key and then back to the car. Shocking, I must have seen that episode 20 times and I never noticed until now. shocked

But will that make me stop laughing? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. The 2nd clip was very LOL-worthy. Thanks for showing me yet another set of unknown sketches.

Happy to share. smile Thanks for starting this thread, thereby making me search through YouTube for great sketches and giving me alot of laughs too.

There are just so many great ones out there. Most of them get better with repeated viewing.

  6. There is comedy funny and there is Monthy Python funny. Those two terms should not be mixed up together.

Give me this over 90 % of the American sitcom humour any day.
