Thanks! Yeah, it's been looking better safety-wise with the recent wind changes, but not air-quality wise.
Another fire has started south of us, and all the smoke is blowing up the canyon and settling here. I just feel like all my summer experiences I was going to plan that I couldn't have last year because of covid, I can't really plan anymore. Hopes for an enjoyable summer are a bit dashed at the moment.

Reading about the heat wave in Canada, which is bizarre. Canada, of all places, with temps you usually only find in places like Death Valley.I am extremely serious. -

Thanks Thor! So far so good! Yes, it's scary hot and these wildfires are no joke. The freeway was closed temporarily yesterday because of the Salt Fire, and so if feel a little like we're sandwiched in by fire! I try not to think about it too much but it does make me wonder where we'd even be able to evacuate to if we needed to. Yikes!
