He was excellent in Jarhead. I don't think he's a hack at all. An odd choice for this film perhaps, but I'm sure he's capable enough. But I don't plan on seeing the film, so I won't be able to find out for myself. -

I did. He's one of those empty, unconvincing new actors to my eyes. Of course time might tell something, but yeah, look at the actors of the past, DeNiro, Pacino etc even when they were at his age, and look at this king of Orlando Bloom like boys today...no comparison.Love Maintitles.
