    Marc Streitenfeld ... crazy

I hope not. I'm not as Streitenfeld hostile as many others, but with a few exceptions, he hasn't really delivered anything that compares to the other Scott collaborators.
    I am extremely serious.

I'm quite disappointed by this. Wouldn't count myself as a massive HGW fan but I thought The Martian was the best thing he's ever done, and his contributions to Prometheus were decent. Wonder what's happened to cause this.

Speculations at this point are that HGW's son leaked some photos from the production, and that this may have had some consequences (the two stories were released almost simultaneously). But it sounds rather farfetched. If it's true, it would certainly make for an awkward family dinner.

  1. Whaaaaaat? That's ridiculous. slant
  2. I remeber an actor posting a short thing about a Star Wars film (or maybe it was the then new Indy film) he had a bit part in on IMDb. He was cut from the film as I recall.
The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else.

Well, the images and plotlines that HGW's son allegedly leaked, have been removed from most pages:

  3. How utterly bizarre...and also massively frustrating for any remaining HGW fans left in the world... crazy

  6. Thanks for the review! I haven't seen or heard it yet, but I can't imagine following in Jerry Goldsmith's footsteps - and the original Mulan score was so wonderful!

And here's my review - also a harsh one, I'm afraid:
