Alan Menken's father was a dentist. His father's father was also a dentist, his father's brother was a dentist, his mother's sister's husband was a dentist, his father's sister's husbund was a dentist. He thought it's also his fate. Later he wrote a song titled "Dentist" for the musical Little Shop Of Horrors
