Neither of those. I'd be very surprised if I ever heard Santa create something so inventive and unique.

Didn't think it was so inventive and unique, but anyway that's just me then wink

Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

I've certainly never heard anything quite like that before. It reminds me of Thomas Newman perhaps, with those weird percussion noises, but it has several non-Newman elements as well.

    Not Pereira either.

Hey, I'm just guessing the score. It might be something else.

No, not Metheny or any of the Dannas either.

Might as well reveal the answer, as I don't think anyone will get it.

David Torn - The order (aka. The sin eater) (trailer)

Actually, 6 days ago, in round 20, I wrongly guessed that BhelPuri's Thomas Newman clip was from this score. BP asked how the score was like, so I uploaded this clip to answer his question. The rest of the album is similar, in that it's rhytmic and very athmospheric, but there isn't really any strong melodic content.

Since that was a hard one, I'll upload one now that I'm sure someone will get. This time a much more traditional sound, and a gorgeous theme from a gorgeous score.

Hehe, no, I figured it would be a hard one. But the movie isn't that obscure. I can't be the only member on this board who has the album.

    That sounds like
Basil's sweeping stuff. I can't think of which one right now. I'll come back after class and give it a shot. Perhaps Lonesome Dove?
Interesting guess, but not it.

Here's another clip from the same score.

I love this score btw. I've just been listening to it very carefully, and I could point out no less than 10 themes! It's a rare occurance that scores have so many themes, but this one does, and it all comes together beautifully.

This composer is not known for action music, but rather for gorgeous and sweeping stuff. <- big hint

well, the way of my deduction was quite weird dizzy In this first clip I heard few notes from Dragonheart by Randy Edelman but of course It doesn't sound like Edelman so I Fought It Might be the sequel score by Mark McKenzie and when I figured out it's not It my guess went for The Last Sin Eater, the score which I listened only once yet. It have to change after now for sure.

Hehe, sounds like a bit of a detour. Curious you ended up at the right composer and score.
