yes it is. it's a very entertaining score on cd. the music is RCP style, but more orchestral. i haven't seen the film yet, but i hope they will release the dvd in germany as soon as possible.
  6. I will definitely have a listen of the score. This was a good appetizer. beer

I apologize for the quality of the first cue -- it's among the many CDs I wish I owned, but do not. I would love to see this guy get more work, film work especially.

  12. These are suites ripped from films since they are unreleased scores -- hope you all enjoy:

    "The Delicate Deliquent"
    By: Buddy Bregman
EDIT: I deleted the video since later on Kritzerland released the score.

I got turned on to this one from a recent FSM post on "Bongos"; someone said this had some great bongo action. The score in the film isn't long, probably about 30 minutes. But it's varied, and I liked it enough to where, if I had a job, it would be a pruchase should somebody release it.

  13. I can't say everyone will enjoy, but I LOVE the scoring from this well known TV show; the following cues are from a composer promo; one of them was on the soundtrack, but in alternate form; the original on here, is better:

here is a suite i made last year. it's from the movie Battle Royale composed by Masamichi Amano. it's a great score with wonderful themes and a great performance by the orchestra and choir.

A good score that was sadly not released officially.

  17. Coming in about an hour: a suite of score from a film I'm positive next to none of you have heard, but have been curious. Famous composer.

  19. "Don't Bother to Knock" (1952)
Jerry Goldsmith's first film score, uncredited

Very, very, very short. I skimmed through the film pretty quickly -- no scoring anywhere but the beginning and end, unless he arranged the instrumental music under the songs.

The film cried out for scoring, and he was born to score such a film. In fact, had this film been from the '70's or '80's, and scored, it would have probably been one of this master pieces.

Instead to me it it just shows how overrated Monroe was in acting, and a rather absurdist plot, too. Hitchcock mental thriller this is not.

  21. "Holy Man"
    By: Alan Silvestri

    Suite 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zmvuZGUqxw

One of his best, in my opinion; it sports about three different styles in the score; I represent two in this suite, with five cues, one being an arrangement of a source piece.

Sadly, this score was never officially released.

  22. In about 30 minutes, some Morton Stevens.

  23. "Knight Rider"
    By: Morton Stevens

What's generally not known is that aside from Stu Philips and Don Peake, there was one more composer on the series -- Stevens, and he scored one episode. Here is a good selection of his:
