Yes. You said. I was just expressing my slight disappointment.

Do you know whether there'll be a meet'n'greet opportunity? Or are there no details yet?

  1. If Timmer reads this he'll go absolutely bananas.

And I have nothing to defend myself with. dizzy

Well, if you, Bregt and Thomas just lay out a spread of the many, many different beers Belgium has to offer come October 21st, I'm sure Timmer's Mad Mania will be abated.

Speaking of bananas, had you ever tried banana beer?
It's a central-african specialty, and amazingly it's really nice and quite refreshing!

    Hehe, ok.

Euhm. Usually, for the other concerts (like Zimmer, Shore, ...) there was a signature session in the Fnac a day before (or in the afternoon). I suppose though, that Barry will be in Ghent for a few days too.

    I'll ask the organisation.

Yes, I think I had a nip of that one. I don't think it was of African origin though, probably a Belgian brewn one.

A note of caution, though - I've heard of several other occasions in the last year or two when he's been meant to pick up a lifetime achievement award coupled with a concert and he seems to have pulled out of them. I don't think his health is so good. But I agree - a major coup if he does actually attend.

The opportunity to buy tickets comes a bit earlier than other years, doesn't it?

Woohoo, and for the first time in recent years, this does NOT coincide with the Frankfurter Buchmesse! Which means I have no reason not to go! Brilliant! I reckon the WSA will be that following Saturday? Is there anything worth visiting at the Friday inbetween, like previous years?
