I remember a year when I saw John Barry three times (twice in London, once in Birmingham), John Williams twice (once each in London and Birmingham) and Jerry Goldsmith once (London). Don't seem to get nearly so many of the truly great film composers giving concerts here any more (admittedly Goldsmith has a decent excuse).
I hope JW comes back one last time; and it would be great to see Horner finally do a concert, but I bet if he did then he wouldn't do much (if any) of his cool 80s stuff. -

Williams won't be coming back, as has been definitely confirmed by the LSO - for the people that were still hoping.
There's a John Williams concert in Köln in early November; and it's the LSO that's performing it! -

That's a shame. Does he just not want to travel any more? He still seems to do reasonably regular concerts in America. -

If he won't come see us, we'll go see him! -

I was just thinking that. A trip to Boston sounds quite nice. -

That would be awesome. I'd go even if I had to spend and insane amount of money. Has he ever mentioned why he's never done one so far?Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

Apparently he is very nervous. Though one was scheduled for London when his profile was at its post-Titanic peak but then cancelled apparently because of poor ticket sales. -

Giacchino wants to carry on doing LOST concerts. I don't know if the Albert Hall would be suitable but I'm SO going to that if they have one. -

Really? Obviously, expectations would be enormous, but a man with his experience and expertise should be above nervousness. Maybe now that he is working less and less in cinema he might think about it.....hopefully.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

This seems pretty easy. Still, I don't know how would Horner deal with the autographs thing. Does not look like an autograph man, if you know what I mran.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

If only everything was as simple, Ant. Conducting is very serious and tough, it's not simply getting out on scene and waving your arms in front of a bunch of people.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

Eric Idle in The Meaning of Life as the waiter? No? Good movie, I recommend it.
For those not so clued in about Lost, Richard Albert (or Alpert) is a character. I should be banned from making jokes. -

Depending on work, my girlfriend and I may make a weekend out of it, so I've already booked myself. But it would be great if you'd make it of course. The programme looks awesome.
