Got to say -- I've never found Jerry Lewis funny. I thought he was painful at best to watch.

This is where we disagree. I remember enjoying his comedy movies when I was younger.

  2. He deserves all the credit in the world for his straight role on Wiseguy, and his turn in Funny Bones (which despite the presence of Lee Evans and a completely pointless criminal subplot is worth seeing) as the famous comic dad of a guy who just isn't funny.

I only know him of Poltergeist which was (ghost)directed by Spielberg. Terrible pun I know. rolleyes

Anyway R.I.P. because I love that film, but I've never seen anything else by him.

  4. Country star Don Williams - whom I knew nothing about - has died. When I heard the news on the radio this morning in the bathroom through rushing water I initially misunderstood and that gave me a sick feeling to my stomach...

Not familiar with him (beyond having heard the name), but Don Williams is also the name of John's younger brother.
    I am extremely serious.
