Elfman - The Nightmare before Christmas

There really isn't much left that isn't already on the Disney CD.
    I am extremely serious.
  1. Arnold's Shaft - good pick. The bootleg is severely lacking.

The promo too, in terms of sound quality, at least (the cue selection is excellent). Very good score, deserves a legit release.

  2. Don't know if the bootleg is the same as the promo. But some standout cues are missing from the version I have. An official release should remedy that.

Let's see. This is just a wish list of scores I would like to see released as complete and legit albums.

Hans Zimmer - The Lion King
Hans Zimmer - Days of Thunder (with the Mark Mancina final cue, especially) especially unlikely.
Hans Zimmer - Bird on a Wire
    Hans Zimmer - Black Rain

Nick Glennie-Smith & Crew - The Rock (with all of the demo cues!)

David Arnold - The World Is Not Enough
David Arnold - Die Another Day

    John Powell - Hancock

    For now...

Agent Cody banks would be suitable for musical tortures. Kinda like what they did in Lost, the Dharma people, with visuals. Damn i miss LOST already.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

Fuck, that sounds like a brilliant idea; isn't it? Great show goddamnit, why did it have to end now, other far inferior ones keep going for ages.

I just finished a rewatch of season six but I think I'll wait until the complete set comes out before I start it again.

I love the score to a 1996 film called ALASKA, a cutesy wildlife adventure starring Thora Birch and Charlton Heston, it's been on TV a number of times, usually on a Saturday afternoon, and I've put it on each time just to listen to the score by Reg Powell ( no, me neither., and no relation as far as I know? ), the action music is fantastic, reminding me very much of a cross between Goldsmith and Poledouris, I'd snap up a CD release instantly.

    that sounds really interesting smile

my holy grails are largely diminishing thanks to the wonderful work of Intrada, La-La Land and Varese, but some still deserve a special mention:

    - Operation Dumbo Drop (David Newman)
    - Bird on a Wire (Hans Zimmer)
    - Gremlins (Jerry Goldsmith)
    - Jack and the Beanstalk (Rupert Gregson Williams)
    - Cool Runnings (Hans Zimmer)
    - A League of their Own (Hans Zimmer)
    - Mystery Alaska (Carter Burwell)
    - Sigfried & Roy (Alan Silvestri)

    to name but a few
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh
