I have fond memories of the faux Salvation Army band that keeps crossing Batman's path during this setpiece from the 60's Batman film:

I might trot that one out in my next class on using source music for effect in films. There'll probably be sniggers from those who would rather see only one kind of Batman, but this is well done. -

Ahhhh...I'd buy this series on DVD in a Holy Heartbeat, Batman, if it weren't tied up in all sorts of legalities that prevent such an issue.'So, this is pretty much the worst original-to-remake transition in the entire history of film scoring. Poledouris...to Bates.' ~ Scribe -

That's one of the best things I've ever seen.

But only after:
"Somedays you just can't get rid of a bomb!"
Oh, I remember a handful of lines from the TV series:
Guy on a train being robbed by one of the non main villains: Puts his hands up, "I'm a bachelor, but I want to live anyway."
Robin falls off a buildings and Batman throws a Bat-a-rang (or whatever) down on a rope. Robin catches it with his mouth and Batman pulls him up. batman makes a comment like:
Batman: "Thank goodness for good oral hygene, Robin."
(was this from the show or the movie?)
Batman walks into a bar dressed as ... Batman. Someone approaches him and asks him something like:
Lady/or Guy: "Sir, would you like us to call a table for you?" (or maybe it was: "Can I take your cape for you?")
Batman: "No thanks -- I don't wish to draw attention to myself."The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

Hilarious. I'd love to see that scene.

I don't have headphones available to me, but this might be it -- it also features a "legendary" scene from the series:

That wasn't it. I enjoyed the Batman dance though.
