NP : Castlevania Lord of Shadow - Oscar Araujo
First listen to this game score . It's very bombastic and has a regular use of choir . I'm 5 tracks in and liking it so far .
I also played the game demo on the PS3 the other day .
The visuals in the game were stunning ! Seems like the days of the first Commodore and Atari are far behind us now !"Simplicity is the key to brilliance" -

Brainstorm - James Horner
Always a joy to return to the classics of the 80s.
Michael's Gift to Karen + Race For Time, two of Horner's best constructed cues of all time.
This score is Horner nirvana, I so wish he would return to this earlier style of writing. On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

This was the first thing I'd heard from Williams and it's stunningly well-composed music. Fantastic score overall with a surprising complexity to the orchestrations. -

The Road - Cave and Ellis
4 or 5 great cues really elevate this score for me. Can't get enough of them. (Mostly 'The Road', 'The Cannibals', 'Memory', 'The Journey' and 'The Beach') -

Sorry guys , the BBC Monarch CD has been out of print for quiete a while now .
I picked mine up when the series was still airing .
If you lucky enough to find a new copy it probably has an astronomical price like
Alan said about the Amazon listing ...

Brilliant score featuring some excellent trumpet cues by the late, great Maurice Murphy. Eric Tomlinson's recording of the LSO is splendid! One of his finest! Great album!

You're playing the Deluxe Edition or the blu-ray isolated score there Eric? Still waiting for my Anthology to arrive. And the complete scores as they appear in the films are already floating around on the net."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

I've only listened to it a couple of times, and I doubt it'll become as brilliant to my ears as to yours. Can't quite get into it, but it does have the typical Williams touch of the period."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -
