  16. Yes, why do we still need the 'black box' today? Isn't technology advanced enough for that data to be collected in real time somewhere other than on a plane?

    The majority of my phone apps seem to do a better job at sending masses of data to various agencies than aircraft do.

    It is impossible to imagine the utter terror the passengers felt in the last eight helpless minutes of the Germanwings air disaster.

    I wish there were a hell so that the co-pilot could forever burn in it.

  24. It looks as if the passengers were not necessarily aware of what was happening up until mere moments before the crash. They might not have noticed the first attempts of the crew to get back into the cockpit due to curtains being closed or stuff like that.

    At least, that's what I will go on to believe if I want to have a chance for any sleep tonight.

    This has turned from a terrible accident into the worst nightmare, for everyone involved, including the family of that copilot who now have to deal with their own mourning and the rage from everyone else.

  27. I didn't want to go into too much detail (the media are already doing that in their usual disgustingly hypocritical manner). The french prosecutor said at the press conference that you can't hear any screams on the audio recording until very shortly before the crash. The crew knew what was going on, but the passengers must have been quiet during most of those eight minutes, which I don't see happening after the cat is out of the bag. We'll probably never know what really happened, but I choose to believe that for the passengers, everything happened very fast.
