It certainly shows how our immune system battles every day with all that the outside world throws at the human body. It's not just dealing with the more common infections and responding to wounds. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Not enough suns.

WOW.
It's incredibly weird when you realise that it's actually a different planet. How the Sun appears smaller and everything. It's mad.
Cheers for sharing. -

My very first impression was "unremarkable".
But.....WOW! Sunset on another planet, not a Hollywood special effect but for real. incredible! And very eerie indeed. -

Indeed, nothing beats reality mate, no hollywood, no sfx, nothing. Nature stuns us and we, little being we are, can do nothing but to sit there and look in awe. -

So true! Notice the sky's blue due to scattering of light because there's atmosphere on Mars."The only tyrant I accept in this world is the still voice within." - Mahatma Gandhi -

I was just imagining what it would be like to actually be stood there watching that "tiny" sun setting on a desolate alien world and the feeling of complete and utter isolation from everything!?
Check out a track called Night In The Outback by John Barry from the score Walkabout....it fits looking at this picture Perfectly! -

This is very true and very interesting, especially coming from you who's obviously traveled half the world (if not more) already and even by that, i am sure that nobody - not even you - can imagine how's that feeling 'cause even if you go to the most remote and isolated place on earth, everything will still feel and look earth-y , and you'll know down below in the subconscious that you're still on earth; with humans and civilization, somewhere not so far enough. But on another planet? Where everything looks and feels and smells and is even heard differently? Nah, nobody can really imagine that and that's a wholly stunning thought. -

Yeah, what an odd thought it is.
Timmer, where was the most desolate place you've ever visited? Being like almost alone? Was it at that gletjser? What three C&C releases would you take to the little Island of Misfit Noise? -

Very true!
Even on the most isolated spot on Earth, which would either be solo sailing in the South Pacific or at the South Pole in Antarctica you are still on a globe populated by 4 billion people and countless forms of life.
Those who have walked on the moon would have a pretty good idea of what it's like. -

Well, I was still with two other people to share that danger. I definitely felt stranded
I'll have to think about this? -

Yeah, it's a great fitting track for the picture! I'm also listening to Arrival To Earth from Transformers and it fits pretty well too. A great experience for today!

I haven't heard the Transformers score?
I guess an obvious one would be the eerie and mysterious Neptune The Mystic from Holst's The Planets.....ironic that Mars doesn't fit at all.

Wow, that really screws with my eyes! If I look at it normally I can see the (small amount) of colour (the blue and the brown), but if I stare at the sun it all goes black and white.

Does anyone else find it amazing that cameras can capture stuff like this? Apparently this is the first time ever that ovulation has been filmed.

Yeah, it felt weird to me too! But after all, this is all artificial man-made classification - the objects remain what they are no matter what we call them
