What is the catalog number of the EMI recording as well as the Capriccio recording. We probably have the same recording but my CD is homemade ie vinyl transfer. I have the original lp. The recordings I have are Serebrier and the Belgian on RCA, Sinaisky and the BBC on Chandos, Khachaturian, and the Naxos recording with the Ukraine Symphony.

Should I ask the obvious question to all about the romance theme?

Since no one responded it was used in the Thames production "Reilly, Ace of Spies."

The "obvious question" was not obvious enough I think.

For me anyway, your poser was a bit too vague to know where to begin.

Perhaps his finest achievement in a film score.

Looks like I have the best performance version of the ones you listened to!

While the jury is still out on the Cappriccio and Naxos you do have the best recording IMHO. There is a tradeoff with the analog recording and the digital of the Chandos but overall the Melodiya is superior.

This is the original arrangement for "Tahiti Trot"/Tea for Two. It comes from a highly recommended album The Jazz Album on Decca.
