    For the last three days I've not been able to use the site without a lot of text coming up. I'll check back in a couple of days. It might be my computer.

    Can you say what browser, where the text appears, and yes, a screenshot would be nice. smile Does this only happen to this site?

  4. The occasional rendering problem (correct term?) of the site where it looks more like a list of text rather than being the proper layout was back again recently. But it the went to looking normal.

    This made me wonder if the problems I sometimes see is the site not loading completely in my browser. Is this possible Bregt? It hasn't happened to me now, but Tom's post reminded me to mention this.

    Hmm, sounds like the CSS is not loaded when it's a list of texts. Is that on your phone Alan? I wonder how this happens. Tom, can you give more details?

    Interesting.
    I have no problem with this with any version of Chrome, IE or Firefox on any Windows version.
    Nor is it an issue with Opera Mobile 5 on any Nokia Symbian) or any version of Safari on any version of iOS.

    ...I'm not helping, am I?

    yes only this site but this morning it seems to be ok

    Very odd Tom. Chrome should work fine and fast. Its rendering is speedy. I can only think this must be your internet connection that is slow, but since you don't have problems on other sites, I really am a bit struck.

  16. Bregt, does this site use Flash at all? I found YouTube to be a problem until I manually upgraded to the most recent version of Flash.

    From my limited knowledge of Flash and things I would not have thought that this would have affected this site but I thought that I would ask.

    It uses Flash on the front page, for the MainTitle of the week. That's all.

    Could that have a knock-on effect throughout the site? I am wondering if Tom should manually update his version of flash?

    If you check here you can find out which version you have. The most recent version I have is 10.3.181.34 and it fixed the YouTube problem I had where no videos would play. Can't say the old version affected this site for me using Opera.

    I just tried to edit one of my reviews using Google Chrome and it seemed to work fine.
