I can see how that there will be little interest in Shostakovich. Still only two requests so far.

I'm sure it's a good CD, Tom, and I'm interested. But there are probably people more interested in the album than me, so that's why I won't make a request.

In any case, kudos for putting it up as a give-away. punk

One could only imagine what he could have done if he had worked for Hollywood. The propoganda that he had to write for was so bland.

Just a little more time on the giveaway. Shostakovich to me is like John Williams to some of you.

I wonder if there is anyone on the board who hasn't got this and hasn't put their name in?

If so tis obvious they are certifiable for the nutty house.

Perhaps these words could be incorporated into Poledouris score biggrin

...oh!? Hang on a sec, are you saying you DON'T have CONAN THE BARBARIAN? shocked
who cares if it's tiny? Come on! - Demetris
  1. No, he's upset that you want to incoporate Martijn's latin lyrics into Poledouris's score.

By the way, I don't have Conan the Barbarian, though it is on my short list of things to get. Hence, I put my name in for this contest, which I suppose makes me unmad.

By the way, your Delerue CD came in the mail today, Martijn! I can't believe it got here so fast. Thanks again so much. The love theme from the first score is beautiful!

I 'know' the Conan scores (does that count Timmer?) but I still don't have an original album. Yes, shame on me.

That's why I'm very interested now.

    That's good news, Chris!
Glad to hear it came in order! smile

I agree with you: the love theme is just stunning.
But then that's one of the things what Delerue does best, isn't it. smile

Bregje, please PM me the address you want the CD to be sent to, and I'll attend to it before the weekend.

    Congrats, Bregje!

As I said, I have several CD's I'd like to give away (I'll try to follow the quality benchmark set up by Martijn and Tom), so let me know when I'm ready to go.
