Screen Archives has a new release (2cd + book)-
    http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm?ID=11411

Is this a compilation of his film scores or is it a concert recording?

It is a compilation of his film scores (in form of suites). Highly recommended.

They were planning a release of the concert Roque conducted last september in Córdoba. I was told they were releasing a double cd plus a DVD with the full concert. Hope they release it soon!

How did I miss this? Roque Baños is conducting a concert in Katowice (Poland) today, performed by the City of Tychy AUKSO Orchestra and the Camerata Silesia choir.

On the other hand, by the first week of December it will be available to purchase the double CD + DVD with the full concert Roque Baños conducted in Córdoba (September 2008). Highly recommended for Baños´fans.

As much as a Baños geek that I am, I don´t have this one shame The only theme I´ve heard is the concert version of "Sevillana para Carlos". Impressive to listen a sevillana performed by a full symphonic orchestra by the way.
