New cd release:
TEQUILA HISTORIA DE UNA PASION

"Tequila" is a classic love melodrama, the story of romance between Antonio and Lola, an impossible love because Lola is married to the uncle of Antonio, which will bring the protagonists to a complicated circle of lies in which will inevitably get caught. Siliotto has composed a score very classic yet very modern, with a deep focus, which starts moving through serious records, on which appears the sound of the trumpet, before giving way to the rest of the orchestra. The result is a work with skill and elegance resolved, heard so grateful in the disc and brings us back to Carlo Siliotto most appreciated by fans of film music, which we find in works like "La corsa dell’Innocente", "Palla di neve" or "Tú qué harías por amor".

I absolutely loved Siliotto's score for NOMAD from a couple of years ago. Totally out of left field, but the sweep and thematic beauty and ethnic influences captured me straight away.Movie Music UK http://www.moviemusicuk.us -

This is good news. I keep bumping into Carlo at SCL events here in LA, at film screenings and things. He's a nice fella, and I'm glad he's getting more work.Movie Music UK http://www.moviemusicuk.us -

I really enjoyed his score to The Punisher. But then things seemed to go quiet. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

The compelted score has been tossed; a new score by somebody named Kareem Roustom, was completed back in April. (Carlo completed his back in December)The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else. -

Earlier this year, composer Carlo Siliotto recorded his score to the faith-based drama, Miracles from Heaven. Scoring took place at The Village in Los Angeles, and courtesy of Suzie Katayama, ScoringSessions.com delighted to showcase photos from the sessions.

I'm totally unfamiliar with Carlo Siliotto, but I'm really enjoying listening to Fluke (which I found secondhand). Looking at the cover, (having not seen the movie) I thought it would be more playful and silly, but it actually sounds very mature/classical/jane-austen-era-esque for a movie about dog, lol. -

I've never heard that one, nor even heard of it. I like Siliotto. He can write some seriously good music for some less than serious films
