    Hey, no need for that.

    I think David's quiz sounds interesting, although he seems to have taken a somewhat cumbersome road in getting it out there.

    As Gilles says, there are plenty of upload services out there. Or, you could rip the CD to your harddrive and send the mp3 files (through filemail.com, for example) to Bregt here, who could then put them out on the server while the quiz is going on.

    I'm interested as well. David, one of the services you can use are sendspace.com. Very easy, nothing fancy. Zip your tracks into one file and upload to sendspace, share the link here and lets get the quiz started! If you feel uncomfortable, send the clips to me.

    You're all awefully excusive today. Let's turn this around and say Bregt came here, made his first post with a contest that you had to e-mail him over -- but none of you knew (I cant' say all) who Bregt was.

    Then dragged it out for days, then made another post with somebody's private e-mail, them came back and dragged out his first thread some more.

    Then some of us, myself not necessarily included, tried to help him and maybe get this gorram ball rolling, but instead said new mysterious user said they were frankly not inclined (in the meantime still not having deleted the private e-mail of a person from their second post) even though it's ridicuously easy.

    Now the new mysterious Bregt wants people's private home addresses to participate.



    Point to ONE THREAD here where ANY of us did this.

    I agree with Martijn. Thanks for the effort, Dave; I can understand your situation, in a way. I.e. to have a niche interest in which you need the internet to meet fellowminded fans, yet being a bit of a Luddite (my dad is one too!) and not getting to share that interest fully online. I can see the frustration there.

    Anyways, feel free to stick around and discuss "vintage" scores or any other thing that might interest you, even if this quiz thing may not pan through.
