Just out of curiosity, does anyone here play Minecraft? I've just recently gotten into it.
  1. Nope. But the music good!

Would love to see the review. I bought the indie music bundle a while back. Lots of soundtracks, I bought it for 25 dollars. Minecraft was the best one I think.

I played the game myself a bit in the past. Made a video of my treehouse. Also check the music ;-)

    Here's William's review for Minecraft:

I must say, this is rather a mystical game. Never heard of it, but apparently it has a large following (and some members here too!). Listened to some clips online and it's all quite relaxing and almost meditative. Here's a playlist on YouTube

Thanks for the review. I'm sure it'll get some extra hits because of the fans.

    Intriguing. I'll have a listen.

  2. Interesting review William. It certainly got me hunting down the album. But listening to the clips I discovered that this one just isn't for me.

But I value reviews such as this for highlighting albums I am not aware of and giving me a chance of taking a listen.

Hi Alan. Yeah, Minecraft certainly isn't for everyone. But I do think it's better than a lot of the really cheap sounding game scores which make poor use of synthesized instruments. This soundtrack, for me at least, really complements the atmosphere of the game quite well.
  3. good to see William busy again putting up reviews, especially ones that I will probably never review or listen to. Keep up the great work William!
